What a day. Seeing our community come out and show up for the 10th Annual Leo Vagias Memorial Golf Classic on October 12 means absolutely everything to us. Every golfer, every sponsor, every person who stopped by to say hello: you’re the reason we get to keep doing this work.
Ten years of coming together to honor Leo. Some of our golfers have known him since he was a little boy. Others never got the chance to meet him. But every year they show up, support his family and help continue something really special. As one longtime supporter and business owner put it, “I love that students get the chance to explore their own ideas with people encouraging them along the way.”
The funds raised this year are going straight toward expanding the L.E.O. Program™ to new schools and carrying Leo’s memory even further, to more students who need it most. As one L.E.O. alum told us, “LEO made a great impact on my ability to network and engage with more experienced professionals, giving me lots of contacts and opportunities to interact with them from a young age.” That is what every foursome and every sponsorship makes possible.
