Program at Don Bosco Prep has been expanded to forty students. Since its inception in the 2017-8 academic year, the L.E.O. Program has traditionally consisted of one class period of twenty-five students who enter an unparalleled high school business education curriculum focusing on Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Opportunity. Through the utilization of classroom instruction from L.E.O. Program Director John Esposito, guest speakers from a wide array of small business and corporate backgrounds, and the Summer Leadership Conference involving panel discussions with government and private sector leaders, students have received wide ranging business instruction in an interactive format. After reviewing the applicants of the fourth cohort, the Leonidas Foundation and Don Bosco Prep have committed to expanding this course to enable forty young men to participate in this experience to prepare them for college and the business world. “We are ecstatic to have the interest and incredible students to lead us to expand the L.E.O. Program at Don Bosco Prep,” said Matthew Perricone, President of The Leonidas Foundation. “We are blessed to have forty qualified and capable students who are eager to enter this course of instruction and benefit from the teachings of this unique course. We thank Don Bosco Prep for their partnership in this great opportunity to share this curriculum with an increased number of Ironmen” “The L.E.O. Program is designed to prepare young men to acquire and master critical business skills as they grow and prepare for life’s next step,” said Esposito. “I am energized to work with these forty students as they embark on this course that will shape them to be the business leaders of tomorrow.” Teddy Vagias, Trustee of The Leonidas Foundation, offered well wishes to the incoming L.E.O. Program students. “These newest members of the L.E.O. Program family offer a number of distinct and diverse characteristics to help each other grow as peers and open minds to embrace the teachings of this course. I am overwhelmed with the support of Don Bosco Prep and The Leonidas Foundation in expanding this program and am fully confident that these young men will excel as they prepare to be masters of industry in the years to come.” For more on The Leonidas Foundation, please visit www.leouniteus.org.
