The Leonidas Foundation Welcomes Cicely Criss as L.E.O. Community Champion at West Side High School10/2/2025 For Immediate Release
Newark, NJ – 10/2/2025 – The Leonidas Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Cicely Criss as the new L.E.O. Program™ Coordinator at West Side High School, where she will lead efforts to inspire and empower students through Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Opportunity. Cicely brings a deep passion for education and student growth to her new role. With her strong ties to the West Side High School community, she is dedicated to ensuring that every student in the program feels supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. “We are thrilled to welcome Cicely as our newest L.E.O. Program Coordinator,” said James Ebert, President of the Leonidas Foundation. “Her commitment to student success and her ability to connect with young people will be an incredible asset as we continue to grow and strengthen our presence at West Side High School.” The L.E.O. Program™, inspired by the legacy of Leo Vagias, provides high school students with unique, hands-on opportunities to build leadership skills, collaborate in teams, and develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges. Through events such as business pitch competitions, leadership workshops, and mentorship opportunities, students gain valuable experiences that prepare them for success in college, career, and life. “At the end of the day, it’s all about the kids" said Cicely.
