IronWorks 2026: Don Bosco Prep’s L.E.O. Seniors Pitch to Real Sharks

Our L.E.O. boys nailed it again this year. At Don Bosco Prep’s annual L.E.O. Program IronWorks competition on January 22, students took the stage in DeSales Auditorium to pitch the business ideas they have been building, refining and believing in all year. From creative concepts to confident presentations, they showed exactly what leadership, entrepreneurship and opportunity look like in action.

The road to IronWorks started well before competition night. On December 4, students in the program traveled to an incubator and accelerator event in New York City, where they delivered elevator pitches alongside peers from several similar programs, picked up insight from other teams and sharpened their own presentations.

Nine student companies completed the L.E.O. Program this year, and five finalist teams advanced to pitch their startup business plans to real sharks for real scholarship money. We are incredibly grateful to our judges for generously volunteering their time, expertise and mentorship to inspire and guide the next generation of entrepreneurs:

Robert Wright
Jim Palumbo
Chopper Russo
David Mudrick
Anthony “Treach” Criss

We are proud to support these young innovators and to award scholarships that help bring their ideas one step closer to reality. Congratulations to all of the finalists and to the Class of 2026. Go light up the world!
